A great trick to make your pans look like new

One of the most difficult and frequent tasks when cleaning the kitchen is to effectively remove the dirt that accumulates on our utensils. Especially pans that accumulate much more grease than others. No matter how much you scrub them, they have that annoying tendency to get dirty and greasy quickly, which gives them a sticky appearance and is unpleasant to the touch.

Of course, simply scrubbing with soap and water will never have the cleaning effect we are looking for. To make your life easier, here is a home trick that will allow you to thoroughly clean your pans and leave them looking like new. To do this, you will only need 2 products that you probably already have at home.

These are baking soda and vinegar . By mixing them together and following these small steps, you will be able to permanently remove grease and bad odors from your pan.

Put the baking soda on the base of the pan and cover it completely. Then pour some vinegar on top. Let the mixture sit for about twenty minutes. Then, take an aluminum scouring pad and scrub the entire surface in circular motions. Be meticulous, it is best to take your time to get a good result.

Once you have scrubbed thoroughly, simply rinse with water. You will see that the base of your pan is shiny and free of grease or dirt.

Once the base of the pan is clean, move on to the surface. To clean this area we are also going to use a common and inexpensive product in all homes: salt.

Indeed, salt will not only keep your pan clean, but will also enhance its non-stick properties.

Place the pan on the stove and when it is hot, add three large spoons of salt and wait three minutes. The salt will turn brown. Then remove the pan from the stove and allow it to cool. When it has cooled completely, wipe off any residue with a dry cloth.

Besides cleaning them from time to time, there is another trick to keep your pans looking their best for longer. Just avoid pouring cold water on them when they are still hot. This small and simple gesture will make all the difference.
