Ingredients
For the dough:
1 sheet of puff pastry or the one of your preference (they can be pascualina discs joined together).
Stuffed:
500g of ground beef .
2 raw eggs .
1 teaspoon salt .
½ teaspoon ground black pepper .
1 teaspoon paprika .
1 teaspoon garlic powder .
70g of flour .
1 grated onion .
1 red pepper (strips).
1 grated carrot .
A bunch of chopped dill and parsley .
50g of butter and a little olive oil (for frying).
For the cover:
2 hard-boiled eggs (grated).
100g grated cheese .
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise .
½ teaspoon salt .
½ teaspoon ground black pepper .
1 clove of grated garlic .
1 tablespoon tomato sauce .
Procedure
Prepare the filling:
Mix the ground beef with the raw eggs, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and flour. Add the grated onion, chopped parsley and dill.
Fry the pepper strips in butter and oil for 2 minutes. Add the chopped onion and grated carrot. Cook for 2-3 more minutes.
Add the sautéed vegetables to the meat mixture and stir until combined.
Roll out the dough:
Place the yeast dough on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin.
Brush the dough with the garlic and melted butter mixture.
Assemble the roll:
Spread the meat filling evenly over the dough, leaving a thickness of 0.5 cm.
Add a layer of grated eggs and cheese.
Carefully roll the dough to form the roll.
Bake:
Place the roll on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and coat with a mixture of egg, sugar, mayonnaise and tomato sauce.
Return to the oven for 10 more minutes.
Present and enjoy:
Serve hot and accompany with salad or mashed potatoes.
