Widely used by students and workers to bring lunch to school or work, plastic containers are very versatile objects that can also be useful in the kitchen, for example to store sauces or other types of dishes.
However, when too greasy foods are stored inside, they get dirty despite repeated washing. Precisely because of the grease and food residues, the plastic of the container ends up taking on an annoying yellowish or orange color .
Luckily, there is a very quick method to remove orange stains from plastic containers . Very few ingredients are enough to make them look like new.
The method involves putting paper towels, some dishwashing liquid and warm water in the plastic container.
Then close the container and shake it well. Next, take a few pieces of paper towels and tear them into small pieces, then shake them again. This will help the paper absorb the water.
After about a minute, remove all the paper towels from inside the container and pour the liquid down the drain. Rinse the plastic container well and it will be like new again and no longer have those annoying orange stains.
