If you also like to have plants at home, whether indoors or on the terrace or balcony, you know how important it is to keep away insects that can attack them mercilessly, block their growth or even kill them.
Below we show you how to prepare a DIY spray that is none other than one of the most powerful (and ecological) natural insecticides for the protection and maintenance of our plants.
To make your own plant spray you need:
25 ml of neutral soap
50 ml of white vinegar or cider vinegar
1 liter can
Bottle equipped with a spray diffuser
Fill the jug with 1 litre of water, then add 25 ml of neutral soap (dishwashing liquid type) and mix well.
Then add the vinegar as well. Continue stirring slowly to prevent the soap from foaming.
Finally, pour the solution into the spray bottle and we are ready to apply it.
Remember to apply the DIY insecticide only in the evening, or at least on cloudy days. Doing it in direct sunlight could burn the plants.
Spray the solution all over the plant, including the leaves and stem. Leave for 15 minutes, then spray the plant with a little water to rinse it.
If you notice any insects remaining, wait two or three days and reapply the DIY insecticide. To keep your plants insect-free, apply a small amount of the solution once a week.
