The most effective method to remove mold from walls

Discovering  mold stains on the walls of your house  is never pleasant. These green, gray or black stains can turn into a real nightmare, for which a few coats of paint are not enough.

Mold  on the walls of your home  is not just an aesthetic problem. There are many symptoms associated with the presence of mold spores, including nasal congestion, watery and burning eyes, dry skin, coughing and sneezing. Not to mention people with allergies or other respiratory problems.

You need:

  • Bleach
  • Paint
  • Waterproofing impregnation
  • Spatula
  • Metal fiber
  • Gloves and mask

The first thing to do is to wear gloves and a mask, to avoid inhaling mold spores or bleach. Clean the part of the wall affected by mold by scraping off the peeling paint.

When the wall is completely clean, mold-free and smooth, scrub it with the wire brush and bleach. This will help remove any mold residue.

Let the wall dry thoroughly, then apply the waterproofing primer. Finally, apply a few coats of paint.
