Tips for Removing Yellow from White Clothes Without Using Bleach

We all have white clothes that turn yellow after a few uses, losing their beautiful original color . Often, yellow stains seem impossible to remove, and we end up using bleach or throwing the garment away.

Bleach, along with other bleaching chemicals, is toxic to our health and harmful to the environment. When we use it on our clothes, even if we wear a mask and gloves, it ends up coming into contact with the skin through the garment we are wearing.

Below, we suggest ways to whiten your laundry without using bleach and get rid of annoying yellow stains .

Deep action on the fabric . Dampen the garment. In a bucket, mix the baking soda with a little liquid detergent and water. Soak the garment in the solution for about 20 minutes. Then rub the garment, being very careful not to damage it. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water.

Natural whitener . Mix 150 ml of white vinegar with the same amount of laundry detergent. Wash your clothes as normal. If the garment has yellow stains under the armpits or on the collar, apply the vinegar directly to the stains about 10 minutes before washing the garment.

Lemon tip . Bring a liter of water to the boil, then add the juice of two lemons. Soak the garment for 30 minutes in the solution and rub the stains. Finally, wash the garment normally.
