How to Dry Clothes Early When It’s Raining Outside

You have done your good laundry, if you are ready to hang the clothes on the balcony , but here it starts to drizzle and after a few minutes, not even intentionally, the drizzle turns into a real storm . Has this ever happened to you?

There are months of the year, like May and November, when rains are more frequent , and drying clothes becomes a real mission. However, if you don’t know how to dry clothes without having to put them outside, we will explain how to do it below.

Most people don’t have a tumble dryer at home, but it is still possible to dry your laundry very early even if you only have a conventional dryer.

Just follow these 5 simple tips to dry clothes at home even if it’s raining outside .

Centrifuge

Most washing machines allow you to run a spin cycle only or have their own more powerful spin option. Adopting one of these methods will allow us to dry clothes much faster.

Choosing the right part

We usually hang clothes in empty rooms or living rooms, to have more space and not have the dryer bothering us. However, this habit is wrong. To dry clothes faster, hang them in the bathroom or kitchen (except when cooking, of course). Try to leave a space between the clothes to allow air to pass through.

Hang clothes in the morning

This very simple operation allows us to take full advantage of sunlight and heat, especially in summer when the days are longer.

Air the laundry

Wind helps dry clothes. If possible, open a window and position the dryer so it gets as much air as possible.

Do more washes

This is the least practical trick from an economic point of view, but it responds to a very simple calculation: more wash cycles, fewer clothes to hang. This will allow us to have more space between one garment and another and thus dry them quickly.
