The shower head is one of the parts of the bathroom most prone to the accumulation of limescale and dirt which, over time, can become very difficult to remove.
In this article, we offer you a very effective method for thoroughly cleaning your shower head using only natural ingredients that are accessible to everyone.
In addition to being effective, the method is also economical and environmentally friendly and can also be applied frequently to prevent limescale build-up.
How to clean the shower head
To begin you need: white vinegar, a toothbrush, a basin and about an hour of time.
Unscrew the shower head and, if possible, disassemble it. Soak it in a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Then scrub the toothbrush to remove limescale and dirt that has accumulated over time. If the limescale is too hard, immerse the shower head again for another 10 minutes.
If the shower head is fixed, you can use a resealable plastic bag , filled with water and vinegar. Dip the shower head in it, trying to fix the bag, and let it sit overnight. After that, scrub with a toothbrush.
