Then there are limescale deposits, which settle towards the bottom and leave a yellowish color that is impossible to remove. Over time, other stains appear and the enamel could corrode, especially when harsh and unsuitable chemical detergents are used for delicate toilets.
There’s a natural ingredient that could revolutionize the idea of cleanliness and shine throughout the bathroom. We’re talking about soap, a classic that’s used every day.
Bar soap in the toilet, the method that few know
Cleaning the toilet and eliminating bad odors is a must, therefore it is advisable not to use chemical cleaners but only other delicate ingredients that could be almost unthinkable.
The bar of soap is the key to achieving a perfect final result and extraordinary shine. How to do it? Simply take a regular bar of soap and cut it into small pieces using a kitchen knife.
Place these flakes in a saucepan filled with water and bring to a boil. Once the soap has completely melted, turn off the heat and wait for the mixture to cool. For an even more extraordinary effect, add tea tree essential oil, which is rich in antibacterial and antifungal properties. The solution is then placed in a spray bottle to be sprayed directly into the toilet.
Let it sit and use the toilet brush before flushing: the end result will be extraordinary. The toilet will be clean, descaled, and completely shiny like new.
This is a remedy to be used once a week, in order to combat the formation of limescale and dirt while preserving the shine of the composition material.
Alternatively, liquid soap can also be used, which has the same disinfectant and cleaning effect. In this case, add one teaspoon of neutral liquid soap to one liter of water with two tablespoons of white wine vinegar. The procedure is the same as mentioned above, putting the mixture—without boiling it—in a spray bottle before use.
