Annoying, the many green leaves and small sticks between the patio tiles. Your patio certainly won’t look any better. Fortunately, we have a great trick for removing weeds and moss.
Weeds
Removing weeds between the tiles: probably one of the most annoying and difficult tasks in the garden. Removing weeds by hand with a rake is very tiring and painful for the back. There are now special brushes for this (which you can, of course, continue to use!), which is already a big improvement over the rake. However, weeds are very stubborn, so it takes a lot of energy to completely remove them. But fortunately, you won’t have to worry about that anymore! Our advice is worth its weight in gold. If you apply this tip, the weeds will immediately stop growing.
Here’s what you need:
- 3.5 liters of cleaning vinegar
- 1/2 cup salt
- small dose of dishwashing liquid
- spray can
Here’s how to do it:
- Mix the 3.5 liters of cleaning vinegar with 1/2 cup of salt and a little dish soap
- Pour some of this mixture into an empty spray bottle and spray it on the weeds.
- Repeat this several times until everything is removed.
Please note: Local plant protection laws may apply and should be taken into account. Check local regulations before starting work.
