It is a combination of baking soda and white vinegar, two eco-friendly ingredients widely used as an alternative to commercial cleaning products.
Vinegar kills bacteria, germs, and mold, just as it can break down mineral deposits in water because it’s an acid. Baking soda, on the other hand, helps remove grease and grime.
You will need to:
½ liter of hot water
1 glass of white vinegar
½ glass of baking soda
What should you do:
Bring half a liter of water to a boil and before it starts to boil, add the white vinegar and stir well.
While it’s boiling, stir the baking soda inside the pipe you want to clean.
Remove the vinegar-water mixture from the heat and pour it down the sink to combine it with the baking soda inside the drain.
An effervescence reaction will occur immediately, try putting a plug in the pipe inlet. This will prevent water from falling on it for at least an hour.
Or if possible, leave it on overnight and repeat the trick at least once a week.
