Ingredients
What are the ingredients that will make your bedroom a comfortable environment with an intoxicating scent?
They are few in number and easy to find, let’s discover them together right away!
- 1 glass jar with lid
- coarse salt, to taste
- 1 tea bag
- 1 piece of thin fabric
- 1/2 teaspoon of essential oils
We all have these ingredients at home! Coarse salt , as you know, is a cheap and effective trick to eliminate moisture naturally.
The essential oil will work like a perfumer and you can choose the scent you prefer!
Method
After taking all the ingredients, let’s move on to the procedure without hesitation !
Pour the coarse salt into the jar until it is 3/4 full , then open the tea bag and add the contents to the salt .
Mix repeatedly until the two ingredients are well combined, then take a piece of cloth and cut it so that it covers the rim of the jar.
Place it on top, add the essential oil and close tightly, 24 hours must pass before opening the jar again.
During this time, the aroma of the oil will be drawn to the salt and tea. When you open the jar, it will smell delicious!
Place it on your bedside table and that’s it! In just a few steps and in no time, you’ll have the perfect way to combat humidity and improve your sleep with the aroma you love most!
Alternatives
Did you like the scented moisture absorber tip ? Well, that’s not all!
There are alternatives you can use every day, both in the bedroom and in other rooms of the house, to get rid of humidity.
The convenient thing is that you only need ingredients you already have at home!
Bicarbonate
Now, the qualities of sodium bicarbonate are countless!
Among cleaning, degreasing, bleaching and others, it also has a natural ability to wick away excess moisture .
In fact, it is used as a quick method inside furniture and drawers, which tend to mold when the humidity is too high.
Fill a bowl with the product and place it on the affected areas, it will be fantastic!
Bag of rice
An alternative as effective as coarse salt: rice !
Lovers of this natural ingredient know that, in addition to being fantastic in the kitchen, rice also has a great natural capacity to absorb water and moisture.
You will need to put some in a bag, until it is completely full , and then place it in the room. If you don’t want to give up the scent, mix half a teaspoon of essential oils with the rice.
Talcum powder
If it dries the skin, so does the ambient air and it makes it very fragrant!
Talcum powder is always a good idea when dealing with moisture problems. It’s mostly used in the bathroom, but there’s nothing stopping you from placing a small bowl on your bedroom bedside table.
You’ll find you’ll fall asleep in no time!
Cornstarch
To finish the list of alternatives based on ingredients that we can find at home, we find corn starch !
Its consistency reminds us of talcum powder, but with the substantial difference that cornstarch is odorless , therefore very suitable for those who do not prefer to have odors in the room.
The procedure is the same as described for the previous methods, you will need to fill a container with the product and place it on the bedside table or on a shelf in the bedroom.
