Keeping your home and garden clean is no easy task, especially when unwanted weeds are growing in your garden and can kill your plants. But they’re also unpleasant to look at: In some cases, they even grow between the cracks of a driveway. Fortunately, you can remove them easily and with less effort using this DIY video tutorial with Michael Borders on YouTube.
Materials:
- 45% concentrated vinegar
- 1-gallon sprayer
- Sea salt
- Bent needle-nose pliers
- Cartridge compound and a cartridge gun
- sponge
Directions:
Step 1
Empty the entire contents of the vinegar into the gallon sprayer, then add a cup of salt and a tablespoon of dish soap, then replace the lid on the gallon container to seal it. Shake well to mix, then spray liberally onto the weeds until completely coated. Let it sit overnight or up to a week. After just one hour, you’ll see visible results; the weeds will be dry and easily crumble; you’ll even be able to pull them out with your hands.

Step 2
Take the tweezers and scrape the space, removing any weeds. Then, use a leaf blower to completely clean the space. Now pour the grout into the cartridge gun, cut off the tip at a 45° angle, and begin applying it as evenly as possible to the gap. Once applied, clean the product with a damp sponge and apply light pressure until smooth. Let it set for at least 2 hours until fully cured, or according to the package instructions.
