It’s simple: after following the instructions provided above, you’ll need to take a saucepan and pour in 4 cups of granulated sugar, for a total of about 750 to 800 grams. Then, to the sugar in question, you’ll need to add three glasses of watermelon rind juice. For a total of about 600 ml of juice.

And again, spices will also need to be added to the sugar and juice. Specifically, 5-6 cloves. All of these ingredients should be cooked together over low heat until the mixture thickens.

In the meantime, you’ll need to continue adding other ingredients. Specifically, half a tablespoon of butter, the juice of half a lemon, and the pre-baked watermelon rinds. These will then need to cook for about an hour over low heat. Be careful, however, not to throw away the remaining watermelon rind juice, as it can still be used later.

Using the fruit, and therefore the part of the watermelon that is usually consumed, it will be possible to prepare a very tasty drink in the meantime. Simply take a few pieces of fruit and place them in a blender to prepare a delicious watermelon drink. The resulting mixture will then be filtered to remove any remaining residue and finally it can be sipped.
