Often, around the house we find broken or worn-out objects that we believe are no longer useful and for this reason, precisely to avoid accumulating useless objects and consequently to save space, we decide to throw them in the trash. In reality, however, many do not know that these objects could easily be reused for incredible new creations. In this regard, we will reveal below what to do with used razors and old slippers .

In every home, there are worn or semi-worn objects that, for this reason, are usually discarded without even a moment’s thought. But in reality, very often we don’t think about the fact that by using them, new, unique objects could be created to be placed in various environments, also to beautify your home. All this is part of that particular type of art defined as DIY, and increasingly popular today among young people and adults alike.

But what exactly is it? First, you’ll need to get some razors and a small piece of sandpaper, also called sandpaper in some cases. The razor blades should be rubbed directly on this piece of paper to remove any residue.
After that, all you need to do is take an old pair of slippers, especially rubber flip-flops. Using a small blade, cut off and then remove the plastic part.

The steps to follow
Making a small pot with used razors and old slippers won’t be complicated at all; on the contrary, it will be very simple. After completing the steps above, you can continue by taking a pen and drawing an inverted triangle right in the center of the slipper. To do this, a great solution might be to use one of the razors mentioned above to take into account for the measurement.
The drawn triangle will then be cut out using a small blade. And once the piece is removed from the slipper, you will need to carefully define the sides by rubbing everything on the piece of sandpaper used previously. Only when all the sides are well smoothed will it be possible to continue adding the hot glue.
This must first be positioned on one side and a razor glued to it. And then gradually, you will need to add glue to the remaining two sides and add the remaining razors to each of them.
In the end, you’ll end up with a small, three-legged triangle made with three razors. How do you proceed at this point? Simple: take a medium-sized plastic jar, such as a hair cream jar, and use a blade to remove the top part, or the part usually used to close the cap.

Once this is done, how do we move forward? The answer is very simple. You will need to take the hot glue gun and pour a little of this glue into the upper part of the triangle previously made with the old slippers . And again, glue the plastic pot on top, obviously using the bottom.
At this point, your pot will finally be almost ready to use. In fact, all you have to do is take a spray can of your favorite color, such as red, green, or yellow, and spray it on all the previously assembled items. The result will be a beautiful and very pretty vase to use on your balcony or place on a shelf inside the house to add a little color.
Right inside this pot, anyone can decide whether to plant a real plant or a fake one. Either way, it’s sure to add a bit of color to your home.
