At this time of year, nature offers us the most beautiful colors, plants, and flowers: mint, lavender, rosemary, sage, mugwort, mallow, St. John’s wort, chamomile, poppies, cornflowers, and roses. All we have to do is choose with care and love. We are careful not to pull out any unnecessary roots or flowers, respecting nature, which is always available and ready to offer us true wonders.
Once our “harvest” is complete, we place everything in a large bowl or basin filled with water and leave it on our balcony or terrace on the evening of June 23. All night, it must remain under the stars to receive the magical gifts from the sky.
The next morning, June 24, we filter and transfer some of our water into a small glass bottle, and with the remaining water we wash our faces and hands.
