Double your flower yield with this natural fertilizer – all you need is one ingredient

It is a natural fertilizer used by professionals in the sector and it alone will help flowers grow exponentially.

A natural fertilizer recommended by expert nurserymen in the industry. When flowers aren’t growing and plants aren’t very healthy, it means they’re lacking natural nutrients. For this reason, the experts wanted to share their method. It’s a unique, all-natural ingredient that can be used whenever plants need it.

Natural Plant Fertilizer: How to Use It
This natural fertilizer is a sustainable and environmentally friendly option, as it contains no harmful chemicals. What is it? It’s yeast.

The yeast in sourdough starter is used to make dough rise, but yeast can also be used for plants. Yeast alone does not provide direct nutrition to plants, but acts as a root stimulant. There are several ways to use yeast as a fertilizer. Here are some options:

The first option is to mix a teaspoon of baking powder with half a liter of warm water. Let the mixture sit for at least an hour so that the yeast activates and begins producing carbon dioxide. The solution can then be sprayed on the plant leaves or poured directly onto the base of the roots. This process helps the plant absorb carbon dioxide, promoting the process of photosynthesis and therefore healthy and vigorous growth.

Another method is to add a mixture of yeast and water to the compost when creating it. The yeast helps break down the organic matter and nutrients in the compost. This process helps produce a more nutrient-rich humus, which plants can easily absorb for healthy growth.
The third method is to use yeast to create liquid compost. To do this, add two cups of baking powder to 5 liters of water, along with a few “activator” ingredients like honey, brown sugar, and lactic acid. Let the mixture ferment for a few days, until it becomes darker in color and less acidic in smell. Liquid compost can be sprayed directly onto plant roots or leaves, as described above.
Generally, it is recommended to use plant-based yeast once or twice a month for best results.

Benefits of yeast for plants
Yeast has been used for years as an effective gardening and plant growth aid. Its benefits are numerous and include increased disease resistance, improved soil nutrition, reduced plant development time, and more robust and vigorous growth.

First, it helps improve soil quality because it contains several nutrients essential for plant growth, including sulfur, magnesium, calcium, and iron. This way, plants have access to all the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy.

Additionally, yeast helps stimulate plant root growth by increasing their ability to absorb water and nutrients from the soil. This means plants will be able to grow better and be more resilient to adverse conditions, such as drought or disease.
