You should know that the process that will be carried out to have your jade tree, also known as a luck or friendship tree, is done by cuttings of leaves or stems.

Once you have removed the leaf from the mother plant, try to clean the leaf well and then let it air dry so that it can harden and thus prevent rotting.
Fill the pot of your choice with soil up to 2 cm from the top. You should use a succulent substrate, either purchased or made with perlite, sand, and compost. And don’t forget the sand; it will keep the soil draining.

Once this is done, you will place the cinnamon on a plate and then place this spice on the stem. This allows for better rooting.
You will select the clay pot and fill it with special soil for succulent plants.
You will make a hole and place the rod, filling the remaining space, trying not to compact the soil too much.
Keep your plant in a spot where it receives sunlight, but not too much. In about 4 weeks, you will see growth at the top of the stem.
Recommendations for caring for your tree:
Water monthly, as due to the characteristics of its leaves, this tree can retain a lot of water. If possible, remove any standing water that could damage the tree in the future.
Keep your tree in a location where it receives partial sun; extreme sun exposure can cause sunburn.
After planting your jade tree, after exactly two years, remember to change the soil it has so that it remains much drier and cooler.
Preferably use a nitrogen fertilizer to keep the tree healthier.
If you have a mealybug infestation, you should clean the leaves with a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
