Bananas can be a lifesaver for those getting ready for bed, just boil them, here’s why.
After a particularly intense day filled with work and commitments, the goal is undoubtedly to finally be able to go to bed to rest your body and mind. Generally, sleeping about 7/8 hours is enough to get rid of the stress of a trying day and start again in the morning with renewed energy. However, not everyone succeeds. In fact, for many, going to bed does not automatically equate to rest: just think of those who suffer from insomnia and are unable to fall asleep despite being tired, or those who cannot rest well at night and wake up in the morning exhausted.

Sleep Problems: This Method Solves Them All
Problems with rest and sleep significantly reduce a person’s quality of life. If you don’t sleep well, you live poorly, because the next day you’re bound to be tired and irritable. That’s why experts in the field remind everyone how important it is to try to solve this problem, which can have significant consequences on both daily life and health. Obviously, overcoming insomnia or lack of rest is anything but a simple task: many people have tried all sorts of remedies without achieving any comforting results.
However, there is one method that can truly make sleeplessness a thing of the past. We’re not talking about sleeping pills readily available on the market, but rather an all-natural remedy like banana and cinnamon tea. What’s more, this solution is also particularly inexpensive and easy to prepare. But why banana? What are the properties of this fruit that we often find on our tables?
The secret of bananas is tryptophan, an amino acid that has the ability to trigger the production of the chemical serotonin in the brain. This element is essential for ensuring adequate rest: serotonin, in fact, promotes general well-being and ensures rapid sleep. Therefore, eating a banana before bed can be the best remedy for insomnia and lack of rest. Ideally, it involves preparing an infusion to drink just before falling asleep.
With banana tea, rest will no longer be a problem
This banana tea can be prepared in just a few steps. Simply take two or three bananas and cut off the ends, leaving the skin on. Using a knife, cut the bananas into chunks, keeping the skin on. Then, place the banana pieces in a bowl and add a pinch of cinnamon.
The next step is to fill this container with water (a saucepan will do) and place it on the stove. When the water boils, reduce the heat and continue cooking for about ten minutes. By this point, the skin will have separated from the fruit. The final step is to remove the saucepan from the stove and pour the solution through a strainer. Banana tea should be drunk about 20 minutes before bed.
