If you water your orchid excessively and too often, its roots may rot. In this case, you can try to recover it with a very simple and effective method using cotton.

Using cotton can improve the health of your beautiful orchid. The first thing to do is remove the plant from its pot to check the condition of the roots. Start by pruning any that are rotten and soft, as they cannot be salvaged.
Then clean the roots with a specific anti-mold product or, if you prefer a natural remedy, you can use cinnamon powder. This spice is effective at eliminating mold and healing the roots. Then moisten a few cotton balls and, after pressing them well, place them around the roots of your orchid.
Then wrap the entire plant in a plastic bag. We recommend using airtight bags.
The cotton will help your beautiful plant produce new, healthy roots that will sprout after a few weeks of waiting. Once the roots are thick and strong, you can repot your orchid.
