Another tool we need to perform this trick is one of the hangers we usually use to hang clothes.
We take some tape and attach both cans to the hanger stand . Once this step is completed, we can move on to the next step.
Let’s take a standard SDI cable and make a cut in the initial part of the antenna, effectively removing the plastic cover and bringing out what is called the “metal braid”.
Now you need to make sure that the braid rotates on itself and then remove the wire from the antenna. The latter must be passed inside the instrument identified as a crocodile terminal , completing everything with the appropriate insulation using adhesive tape.
The second crocodile terminal will be used to cover the metal braid . In this case, too, we will need insulating tape.

We proceed to cut the two respective sides of the cable , so as to bring out the iron wire. Cover it with the plug that is usually used for connections to the TV and always use insulating tape to secure everything.

At this point, the tabs on the cans come into play, as the crocodile terminals will need to be hooked directly onto the tabs . To ensure a satisfactory signal, we need to position the antenna at the highest possible point.
Once this step is completed, all that remains is to test the success of the operation. In fact, all that remains is to connect the cable to the TV and try to see if we are actually receiving channels from around the world in high quality.
