It is a species of succulent native to Africa scientifically called ‘Crassula ovata’ , it is very resistant and adapts well to interiors, although it prefers direct sun. It has very fleshy green leaves and thick stems, has a slow growth and does not require too much attention.

It is a plant considered prosperity, luck and abundance , so it is one of the most appreciated to have at home, because in addition to beautifying spaces and its ease of maintenance, it attracts luck.

You will need:

Gardening scissors
Alcohol
Black earth
POTS
Jade tree with cuttings
Step by step:

Disinfect the gardening shears with alcohol and let them dry.
Cut cuttings or twigs between 8 and 10 cm long, cut as many cuttings as you like or can take from your jade tree
Cut the leaves, leaving at least 6 cm of the cutting free so that it roots more quickly.
Place your twigs on a towel or paper towel and let them harden for three days
Once healed, plant the cuttings in a pot with black soil.
Water every three days and avoid direct sunlight
After about 3 or 4 weeks, check that the cuttings are taking root
Transplant if necessary
Basic care:
As a good succulent, it needs a well-drained substrate.
It will be enough to water it once every 15 days.
In winter, you can extend watering longer and do it only once a month
You should never water its leaves to keep it in good condition
You should not put it in a humid, cold and dark place
It needs a lot of light, but never direct
Interiors with a temperate climate are a good place to live
