Next, prepare the special supplement called mycorrhiza . This is a fertilizer that transfers nutrients to plants . For example, copper, phosphorus, or zinc. However, it is not very cheap even if the amount used is small, so it will last a long time and you won’t have to worry.

It is added as if it were salt. The producers of this product recommend 5 grams per plant so you can also weigh the correct amount with a small scale . So this should be inserted when planting but remember that the soil does not renew itself so you will have to do this before planting the new onions.

So, before planting the plants, the soil must be enriched because the soil is the very essence of plant growth . If the soil does not have what plants need to grow, humus, manure, organic matter and more, nothing will grow and your efforts will be in vain.

As we mentioned, the soil must be prepared, so in addition to moving it, it’s a good idea to use ash. This also works very well with onions and will benefit their growth. In fact, ash helps protect the onion from pests that attack it. The amount depends on the quality of the soil; the better it is, the less ash you’ll need.

The planting process is very simple . Make holes about a fist deep, as the onion doesn’t grow very deep. Then place the small onion or seedling and also add the mycorrhizae. As we said before, a very small handful is enough for each plant.
