Thread
The last period, characterized by the economic crisis and galloping inflation, has pushed many families to change many behaviors in an attempt to save and not indulge in unnecessary expenses. Many have therefore begun to use household appliances better, perhaps by regulating the temperature of the refrigerator or turning off the oven a few minutes before taking out the food, or unplugging all the plugs at night, etc. This is not all, because we have seen in recent times how many families have chosen to dedicate themselves more to recycling .
Also create a very useful object: it only takes a few minutes
Very often, in fact, we tend to throw away certain objects that could instead be very useful for making various tools. In this way, in addition to creating something beautiful, we can avoid spending money unnecessarily and create what we need independently.
Rolls of adhesive tape
Just to give an example, few people know that with a roll of used tape and a thread you can create something very interesting.
The first thing to do is to apply a little glue to the inside of the roll and attach the thread to it, then do the same on the outside of the roll itself.
We glue the thread around the roll until it is completely covered , so as to create a kind of bracelet. We do the same with other rolls, as can be clearly seen in the video.
By placing a roll in the center, we glue all the other rolls around it, forming a sort of fantasy. Once this step is completed, we take a piece of cardboard and cut out a circle the size of the creation we have just made.
We put a lot of glue on the back of the cardboard circle and stick it on a piece of fabric , then we stick the part of fabric that protrudes from the edge on the other side of the cardboard circle.
Let’s form a circle with a little yarn and glue it to the center of the cardboard circle, continuing to wrap the yarn (still using the glue gun) until the circle is completely covered.
We now have the base of the creation we made previously, that is, the one with the rolls glued together. Simply apply glue to the bottom of the creation to easily stick it to the base.
Now let’s make another small circle out of cardboard and glue the ends of two sticks , one on the right and one on the left. We also do the same with the top and bottom with two more sticks.
We continue adding many more sticks, so as to form spokes. Here too, we wrap a little thread and glue it to the center of the circle, continuing to roll until the entire base is covered.
With thread and glue the result will be extraordinary: try it to believe it
Calmly and patiently, we also begin to wind the wire around the sticks , as clearly shown in the video. When we have managed to form a circle with the wire the size of the previous base, we can go and cut off the excess parts of the sticks.
Glue gun
Let’s turn this last creation over and roll some glue thread in the center of the cardboard circle that serves as a base. We continue to roll the thread, still using the glue gun , until the creation is completely filled.
We’re almost ready to finish the project. Now let’s take a thread of a different color, roll it up a bit, and glue it to the center of the creation. Let’s take a small ring, cover it with thread and glue , and use it as a handle for the previous creation, which is precisely a lid.
All that remains is to place the lid itself on the first creation, that is, the one with the rollers. In this way, we will have created a practical object holder in a few minutes , without spending too much money.
