It requires special attention, and for this reason it is recommended to do a deep cleaning at least once a week.
There are many cleaning products on the market, however if you are looking for a natural option that is safe for your health and the environment, vinegar will be an excellent ally.
Below we offer 6 tips for quickly cleaning the entire bathroom using only vinegar.
- Clean and disinfected toilets
Pour white vinegar into a spray bottle until it is full. Spray the vinegar inside the toilet and on its surface.
Let it sit for about an hour, then spray again and let it sit overnight. The next day, flush the toilet with plenty of water. In addition to cleaning and disinfecting, vinegar removes brown stains.
- Cleaning mirrors without streaks
You need a spray bottle, 250 ml of white vinegar, 250 ml of water and a microfibre cloth.
Mix water and vinegar in a spray bottle and apply the solution all over the mirror. Wipe the microfiber cloth thoroughly and repeat the application a second time if necessary.
- Disinfect the bathtub
In a container, mix 500 ml of white vinegar with 4 tablespoons of bicarbonate. Once the effervescent reaction is complete, pour the solution into the bathtub, taking care to spread it over the entire surface.
Use a vegetable sponge preferably to scrub the surface of the bathtub well, then wait an hour and rinse thoroughly with water.
- Shiny tiles
Pour 500 ml of white vinegar and 250 ml of water into a spray bottle, shake well then spray the solution on the bathroom tiles.
Wait 30 minutes, then scrub with a sponge or, better yet, a toothbrush that you no longer use. You may need to repeat this process two or three times. Finally, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Clean and shiny faucets
Mix the juice of one lemon with 250 ml of vinegar, then dip a toothbrush in the solution.
Scrub the toothbrush on the taps, working intensively on the areas most soiled with limescale or mold. Leave for 5 minutes, then rinse.
- Stain-free sink
In a container, mix 100 ml of white vinegar, 100 ml of water, 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate and lemon juice.
Scrub the inside surface of the sink with a sponge soaked in the solution and leave for 10 minutes. Finally, rinse.
