on Foods that rejuvenate the brain
If you’re looking to improve your concentration, memory, or other brain functions while preventing almost any brain disease, these dietary changes may be for you. The brain can deteriorate due to a wide range of factors, from advanced age to hereditary diseases, but diet and lifestyle also play a fundamental role.

Celery . Including 75 grams of celery in your daily diet can improve your concentration and memory in four weeks, according to a study from the University of Illinois (USA). Celery is rich in luteolin, a compound that nourishes the brain, especially the nerve centers and areas dedicated to memory. Other excellent sources of luteolin are parsley, green peppers, and chamomile.

Dried Fruits . If you want to reduce the risk of blocked cerebral arteries, thus avoiding serious diseases, include at least 40 grams of dried fruit in your diet. A Harvard University study confirmed that dried fruit contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for maintaining the flexibility of blood vessels and ridding them of plaque.

Meat . Red meat is an excellent source of vitamin B12 and phenylalanine, nutrients that block brain shrinkage, thus improving its performance. The recommended amount of meat is 340 grams per week and can be beef, pork, or lamb.

Green leafy vegetables . 230 grams a day of spinach, cabbage, or other green vegetables helps keep the brain healthy and efficient, rejuvenating it for up to 10 years. A study from Rush University in Chicago showed that the vitamin K, folate, and beta-carotene in these vegetables are responsible for these great properties.

Milk and milk products . Drinking 240 ml of milk a day, or eating 240 mg of yogurt or 150 grams of cheese, improves our memory and concentration skills, thus protecting us from dementia. Milk is rich in calcium, a nutrient essential for brain health.
