The first thing to do is to cut off any roots that appear damaged with a pair of scissors. Once this is done, select a vase with good drainage and place some simple pebbles at the bottom.

Let’s take the construction sand and pour it into our vase. Then, on the surface, with our fingers, we create a small fountain in order to correctly insert the roots of the orchid .
Then we water the plant after placing the pot in a saucer. At this point, excess water will drain from the drainage holes. Then we place the vase in a sunny but at the same time cool place .
The roots will grow quickly and after just 2 months the plant will appear fully recovered and will even have started to flower.
So after the necessary time we will transplant our plant to place it where we prefer.
After watering it, and also pouring the water into the saucer, gently extract the orchid and then carefully clean the roots . Then we place the stones in a new drainage pot and place the plant inside, covering the roots with the stones.
