How to propagate orchids endlessly?
Orchids are elegant and refined plants, with different species available to offer different scents and colors to suit your personal taste. They make a beautiful gift for any occasion, but they’re also a great home plant to beautify your garden or living space.

Gardeners have decided to reveal a little secret to its endless propagation. All you need is a pair of scissors, an orchid plant that has already flowered at least once, and fertilizer to help it grow.

Orchid branches

It is also important that the orchid’s branches are healthy and that the orchid has been cared for as well as possible over time. Remember that this plant needs a very humid environment and plenty of water. Most of the time, it is recommended to place it in the bathroom, laundry room, or kitchen, wherever there is plenty of moisture.

It must be fed daily and its roots must never be in contact with too much stagnant water to prevent rotting. Once all this is done and the plant is healthy, you can move on to propagation.

Ingredients and Process
To have endless orchids, you just need to follow a simple procedure provided by experts and professionals. Proceed while wearing gloves and cut a branch/cutting from the plant with scissors—vertically and without cutting.

In a separate container, prepare a substance that will serve as the main nutrient:

Take all the sprouts from one potato and put them in a bowl.

Add a chopped garlic clove;
mix and add a little water.
Then cover the mixture and store it in a dark place so that it can macerate for up to a week.

The cutting is removed and disinfected so that it is ready for the entire process. In the meantime, filter the substance along with the potato and garlic, so that you have a liquid nutrient. The cutting should be soaked in this substance to absorb all the nutrients.

Immediately after, it should be placed in the pot, with soil and compost, where it can multiply over the following weeks.
