Place the bamboo on the outside of the PVC pipe and tie the bottom with twine to secure it.Now that you have secured the bottom of the bamboo, continue tying it and keeping it straight until it is between 4 and 12 inches tall, or wherever it starts to be most flexible. At this point, bend the bamboo slightly and wrap it around the pipe , tying it as you go. Don’t use too much force to avoid damaging the stem.
