Ingredients
300 g of biscuits
150 g of peanuts
100 g of sugar
100 ml of water
125 g of butter
200 g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons of oil
Preparation
On a 21×15 cm tray, place baking paper.
Place 300g of biscuits in a food processor and grind until fine crumbs form. Transfer the crushed biscuits to a large bowl.
Add 150 g of peanuts to the food processor, grind and add to the bowl with the crushed biscuits. Mix both ingredients well.
In a saucepan, place 100g of sugar, 100ml of water and 125g of butter. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the sugar and butter have completely melted.
Remove the pan from the heat and pour the hot mixture into the bowl with the crackers and crushed peanuts. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
Divide the dough into two equal portions and set one portion aside.
Finely chop 100g dark chocolate and place in a heatproof bowl. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
Add the melted chocolate to one of the reserved dough portions and mix well until the chocolate is completely integrated into the dough.
Place the chocolate mixture onto the prepared pan and press firmly to level the surface.
Take the other half of the dough (without chocolate) and place it on top of the chocolate layer on the tray. Press and level the surface well again.
Chop another 100g of dark chocolate and place in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and melt in a bain-marie, stirring until smooth.
Pour the melted chocolate over the mixture in the pan, covering the entire surface. Level well with a spatula.
Place the tray in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours to allow the candy to harden.
After the cooling time, remove the tray from the refrigerator, remove the baking paper and cut into portions of the desired size. Your sweets are ready to enjoy!
