on How to Permanently Remove Bathroom Mold
Mold grows on bathroom walls by feeding on soap scum left after showering. The most common type of mold appears on walls as black stains. While not deadly, it can still cause health problems, such as asthma and allergies.
Tips to Prevent Mold Growth in the Bathroom
Place a medium-sized fan
Turn on the fan while you shower and leave it on for up to half an hour later
If you don’t have a fan, or there is no space to put one, you can dry wet surfaces with a towel after taking a shower (walls, mirror, ceiling).
Leave the windows open immediately after showering
Check for sink leaks
Once you’re finished showering, unroll the curtain to prevent mold from building up between the folds.
Clean the bathroom regularly, at least once a week. Don’t forget to clean the walls and wash the shower curtain.
Install an electric dehumidifier
